Native Client invoicing, from time to PDF

BetterDocket now has a dedicated Billing area for Firms and Clients. Build a USD invoice from completed billable time, manual charges, or both; choose exactly who receives it; and issue a permanent PDF without moving the matter into a separate system.

Effective-dated member and Case rates keep historical time accurate. Firm-only Time notes stay private—a separate Billing description is the only Time text copied to an invoice. Drafts reserve their selected Time Entries so two invoices cannot claim the same work.

After issue, Clients can see current balances and paid or void history in their portal. Firms can record partial or full payments received elsewhere, reverse a mistaken record without erasing history, resend an invoice, and schedule due-date and weekly reminders.

BetterDocket remains the invoice source of truth, but it does not collect payments, hold Client Funds, manage trust accounts, or replace accounting software. Those are deliberately separate from this release.
