Closing a Case archives it

Closing a Case now archives it in the same step. The client still sees your closing note in their portal, and the Case drops straight to the $0.20/month archived rate with its files packaged into cold storage. There is no longer a separate Archive case button, and closed cases no longer keep billing at the open-case rate while they wait for one.

The close dialog spells this out before you confirm. Reopen is still one click while the files are on their way; once they have moved, Restore case brings them back in a few hours. Closed and archived cases now share a single Closed tab on the cases list.
