Structure and copy
A home page, a page per practice area, attorney bios, a contact page with a clear intake path, and the plain-English copy to fill them. You review every word.
Services · Starting the firm
Most law firm websites were built once, by someone who has since moved on, and have not been touched since. They are slow on a phone, say the same thing as every competitor, and give a prospective client no obvious next step. We build or rebuild your site around one job: a person with a legal problem finds you, understands what you do, and books a consultation.
Who this is for
What is included
A home page, a page per practice area, attorney bios, a contact page with a clear intake path, and the plain-English copy to fill them. You review every word.
Fast load times on mobile, accessible markup, structured data for your firm and attorneys, clean URLs, and a sitemap. The things Google scores before it reads a word.
Consultation requests that land in your inbox and, if you use BetterDocket, can open a Prospect Case so the documents you need arrive before the first meeting.
The domain, hosting, and site are yours. We document how to edit the common things and stay available for the rest.
How it works
Thirty minutes on your practice, your market, and what the site needs to do. We review what you have today, if anything.
A written scope: pages, copy, timeline, and a flat fee. Nothing starts until you approve it.
A working draft you can click through, then revisions until it reads like your firm.
DNS, redirects from the old site, search console setup, and a short walkthrough of how to make changes.
On the platform
The software is a separate subscription and never required. Firms that use it get these handoffs out of the box.
One private page where each client sees where the case stands, what comes next, and what you need from them.
See the featureAsk once. Clients upload from a phone, reminders run daily until each request is answered, and files land on the Case organized by request.

A short consultation, then a written scope and a number. No retainer, no long-term contract, and nothing starts until you approve it.
BetterDocket is not a law firm, a CPA firm, or an insurance agency, and nothing on this page is legal, tax, or insurance advice. Where a service requires a licensed professional, that work is performed by a licensed professional in your state, either on our team or through a partner we vet. Every engagement is scoped and quoted after a consultation.
A new site for a solo or small firm typically launches within a few weeks of approving the scope, with most of that time spent on copy review. A rebuild with many existing pages takes longer, and the quote says how long.
No. We work with the domain you own. If you have no hosting yet we set it up in your name, so the site is yours whether or not you keep working with us.
Yes. Consultation requests go to the inbox you choose. If your firm runs on BetterDocket, a request can open a Prospect Case so the documents you need for a first meeting are requested automatically.
The BetterDocket team delivers most of this work directly: the technology, web, and search work by the engineers who build the product, and the bookkeeping, tax, and payroll work by the CPA on our team. When a service requires a license we do not hold, or our team is at capacity, we bring in a vetted partner and stay your single point of contact.
Every engagement is scoped and quoted after a short consultation, and most are flat fees so you know the number before work starts. Ongoing services, such as bookkeeping or SEO, are quoted monthly with no long-term contract.
