Client portal help
See where your case stands
Your portal home answers three questions at a glance: what's your next step, what did your firm say last, and where does each case stand. Open a case for the full picture.
Your next step
The big card at the top is the one thing that needs you — upload a requested document, read a new message, or a step your firm posted. Press Open next step to go straight to it. When nothing needs you, the card says so plainly: "Nothing needs your attention right now."
Where your case stands
Inside a case, the Overview shows the case path in plain English: the stages already passed, the current stage your firm has chosen to show you, and what comes next. The pill next to your case title names that same current stage.
Your firm may manage work across those stages in a different order behind the scenes. The portal keeps that internal coordination out of the way and gives you one clear answer about where your case stands.
The latest from your firm
Latest from your firm on the home page shows the most recent update your firm posted; the case's Updates tab keeps all of them, newest first, in plain language. Coming up shows the next date your firm has shared — hearings, meetings, deadlines — with the rest on the case's Calendar tab.
More than one case?
Every case appears under Active cases, each row showing the firm's name, the current stage, and what's waiting — unread messages, documents needed, drafts to review. If you work with more than one firm, all of it lands in this same list; the firm's name on each row tells you whose case is whose.
If something on the screen doesn't make sense, ask — that's what Messages is for, and the Case guide can explain what you're looking at.
